Moto and I flew into Boston for a meeting with our clients that are building an eco-lodge on the island of Dominica.  We went a year ago to see the island, meet the team, and develop our budgets.  After some restructuring and modifications, we went back to the drawing board and are moving forward with the project!  I am glad that Kelly and I are able to continue to work together.  We make a great team and I can't wait to see how this all turns out!  Soon it will be time to go back to the island and get the local artisans working on the furniture etc.

After our meeting, Moto and I went to our FAVORITE restaraunt in Boston called grill 23.  This place is soooo east coast and has the best dirty martinis!  After enjoying our dinner and drinks we walked around Boston a little bit and hit up the Boston Commons.  It's fall here which is my favorite time of the year!  Below are some snaps of our day.

Here are a few snaps of some custom pieces that were done for my client.

I'm thrilled with how everything is coming out.

One of the things that I absolutely love to do when I visit The Motherland is to go to the antique sale that happens every week.  Oh my goodness how I love it!  I have thought on more than one occasion how much I would love to be able source vintage pieces as a part of my business.

I'm in Indiana for a couple of weeks to visit and enjoy some proper midwestern summer!  With the help of friend's who are in Indiana, I coordinated a reunion of friends that I went to school with at Ball State University in Muncie.  After that it was time to go to my parents on the lake and hit up the LaGrange County4H Fair.  Here are a couple snaps from my visit!
